Ninja Gaiden II

Well, I decided to take the high road today and save the extreme bashing until further in the review. Don’t worry, this is still a good game.

Well, here’s the thing. The fighting is REALLY intense. And there is a lot of it, but well balanced. It isn’t like you are fighting the same guys every second. And it is a lot like Sigma and Black in the sense that it adds nothing new, and in fact probably shoulda spent more time in development as the PS3 remake of the remake of the origninal Xbox title kicked more ass then this game. Whoops. Did I say that out loud? And I ain’t even started yet.

This game is the same as the Xbox origninal. Okay, sense a lot of the readers out there don’t know the story about this game and remakes, lemme explain.

-Early 2000s; Ninja Gaiden released (Even though there was a Ninja Gaiden arcade in the 80s, and later an Nintendo Entertainment System Game, with the SAME name, then two other sequels.

-A YEAR LATER; They remake the game adding some new MINOR, VERY MINOR stuff that….adds nothing!

-TWO YEARS AFTER THAT; THEY REMAKE THE SAME DAMNED GAME AGAIN!

-2008; They basically just add some new stuff and call it a sequel, mainly BECAUSE THIS ENTIRE DECADE THEY HAVE BEEN REMAKING THE SAME DAMNED GAME!

The storyline is shit. The game tries to be “mature” by whenever I punch someone, having ten of their limbs fly off. I am not saying this is a bad game. It is just that I have played it before. Three f***ing times before. (And actually, the PS3 version was the best and had the best graphics, AND is cheaper. And had a better story. *HINT* Get that instead.)
